Behind the Design

The Lakes pattern was created as a tribute to Louisiana’s waterways—the natural systems that shape the state’s landscape, culture, and way of life. Rather than traditional camouflage meant to disappear, this design is built to be understood. Each organic shape within the pattern is the actual outline of one of Louisiana’s eight largest natural lakes: Pontchartrain, Borgne, Calcasieu, Maurepas, Salvador, Des Allemands, White, and Catahoula.

Together, these forms create a camo that reflects movement, connection, and geography—honoring the lakes that sustain wildlife, industry, recreation, and tradition across the state.
